Jekyll is a very free, simple, open-source and straight forward web platform written in Ruby. It can be used to run blogs, personal or informative websites with static content in few steps. All you need to have following it basic knowledge of Ruby and its package managers, few commands and BOOM! You have a blog up and running. Installation
You will need following to get Jekyll up and running:
